Cromer
Cromer is a traditional seaside resort, famous for its exquisite crab, lifeboat station and Pavilion Theatre. Its famous pier is an enduring example of Victorian architecture, having withstood many storms, tidal surges and even an attempt to blow it up by the government in WW2 to prevent it being used as a landing strip for enemy invaders!
Queen Victoria’s Osborne House, Isle of Wight
A grand day out at one of the UK’s most visited attractions, the holiday home of Queen Victoria who said “It is impossible to imagine a prettier spot”. Ferry times are 10.30am out and 6pm return, arriving back at approx. 9pm.
Norfolk Broads steam & cruise
With a comfort stop en route, we arrive in Aylesham with time to browse or grab a coffee before we board the narrow gauge steam train for the 18 mile journey through the Bure Valley to Wroxham. Then we drive to the beautiful village of Horning, where you will have time for lunch, before we board the superb Mississippi river boat, The Southern Comfort, for a 1½ hour cruise on the Norfolk Broads.
Kentish Lady and Allington Castle with tea and cake
We visit Maidstone and after time here we make our way to board The Kentish Lady for this exclusive and unique excursion to experience the scenic River Medway combined with a guided tour of Allington Castle’s beautiful gardens, courtyards and also its impressive Great Hall.
