Day excursions

Revered across the globe, Royal Ascot is the seasonal event of the year playing host to the finest horse racing, spectacular fashion and delicious food and drink each June. Our tickets are for the Queen Anne Enclosure, the only public enclosure with views of the parade ring. On arrival at the course, we will set up a picnic buffet with Champagne and other bubblies. PLEASE NOTE THAT ROYAL ASCOT ENFORCES A STRICT DRESS CODE WITHIN THE QUEEN ANNE ENCLOSURE.

Christmas isn’t complete without carols at the Royal Albert Hall. Join us for a magical performance featuring a mix of traditional and modern festive favourites. With an orchestra, choir, presenter, soloist, and plenty of sing-along moments, it’s the ultimate way to celebrate the season. After the service we head into London’s West End with time spent at Covent Garden and the surrounding area.

Swindon has a history that is intertwined with the Great Western Railway and that becomes evident as soon as you step through the main entrance to this delightful undercover shopping mall. With a host of High Street stores, designer outlets and plenty of places for refreshments, the McArthur Glen Outlet Centre is a shopaholics delight.

Travel to the Inn on the Lake and spend an afternoon immersed in the Seventies with one of the UK’s best Abba tribute bands, Abba Chique. An uplifting afternoon as they work through the incredible ABBA back catalogue - hit after hit. Before the show starts, we have our first course festive lunch, with a second course served in the interval. Great value.

We travel to the ever popular Dobbies Garden Centre and while away some time searching for those festive goodies. We then make the trip to the Hamlet of Plucks Gutter where a welcoming Christmas lunch with entertainment awaits at this renowned public house, beautifully located on the Great Stour and its tributary the Little Stour.
